WanderIraq Booking & Refund Policy
Our ultimate goal is to make your journey convenient, pleasant, and transparent.
Kindly, read our policy carefully:
1. Booking Deposit
- A 30% non-refundable deposit paid in advance is required to confirm your tour.
- This deposit can be fully applied to a future trip if you reschedule after agreeing on a new deal taking in consideration the expiry date of the visa as well as other non-refundable bookings.
2. Balance Payment
- The remaining 70% of your payment is due on arrival in Iraq or sent prior to the tour by 30 days.
3. Cancellations by WanderIraq (Security/Conflict Issues)
- If WanderIraq must cancel your trip before you fly due to conflicts or hazards in Iraq, we will:
- Refund the whole 70% of your payment.
- The remaining of the 30% deposit, in this case, will be sent back after deducting the first payment of the visa, hotels, driver which we have already booked.
- In case WanderIraq cancels the journey due to private reasons:
- Before you fly, the whole payment is to be refunded.
- During the journey, the rest of the payment is to be refunded (after making sure finding a suitable substitute).
3½. Traveler Cancellations
- In case the tourist cancels the journey for private reasons:
- Before you fly, only the 70% is to be refunded.
- During the journey, the payment is non-refundable. And WanderIraq shall find a suitable substitute to make a new deal with a new payment.
4. Visa Fees
- A new visa is required for any future trip.
5. Partial Tour Interruptions (Unexpected Situations)
- If your tour has already started but unforeseen events force us to cut it short (e.g., a security incident, border closure, etc.):
- We will ensure your safety first.
- We will review the situation and do our best to cancel all other bookings according to the policies of the other partners in order to refund the remaining money payment can be refunded up to 20% only.
- In case the site we visit is closed during the journey, WanderIraq shall make plan B which is to visit other sites in the country.
6. Cancellations by the Traveler
- If you cancel for personal reasons before you fly, the 30% deposit is non-refundable.
- We strongly encourage rescheduling instead of canceling so you don't lose your deposit.
7. Flexibility Promise
- We work closely with local authorities to provide the safest, smoothest travel experience. This policy ensures fairness while protecting both travelers and WanderIraq from unpredictable regional challenges.
8. Guide Substitution
- If a guide cancels a trip for personal reasons another guide will take his place and the tour will continue without full cancellation of your trip.
